2025-2026 Platinum Clubs® of America Election Process and Key Dates

The Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board is honored to announce the process and schedule for the 2025-2026 Platinum Clubs of America election. As the election approaches, the following key dates will assist in preparation:

JUNE 2024 - PRELIMINARY BALLOT Clubs may view the Preliminary Ballot and request the Advisory Board to be included on the Preliminary Ballot. General Managers, COO, and CEOs, may also nominate Clubs for the Advisory Board's review, approval, and inclusion on the Final Ballot before June 30th, 2024. Each Club should exemplify the Seven Selection Criteria.

JULY 2024 - CLUB SUBMISSIONS FOR THE BALLOT Clubs listed on the Preliminary Ballot, as well as any additional Clubs approved by the Advisory Board, are invited to assist the voting body learn more about their Club by submitting a Club Submission presentation by August 2nd, 2024. Examples of submission formats are available here.

AUGUST 2024 - THE FINAL BALLOT Two Final Ballots (which will include links to Club Submissions) will be distributed to each Club on August 13th, 2024. One Ballot will record the votes of the General Manager/COO or CEO, and one Ballot will record the votes of the Club President/Commodore. The Final Ballot includes Clubs for consideration in each category: Golf Clubs, Country Clubs, City Clubs, Yacht Clubs and Athletic Clubs.

SEPTEMBER 2024 - THE VOTE AND ELECTION RESULTS Voting will close on September 9th, 2024. To maintain transparency and integrity, the election is conducted by a third party and the results are certified as true and correct. The Platinum Clubs of America 2025-2026 election results will be announced on September 24th, 2024. 

Club Leaders Forum is accepting Club Submissions for the 2025-2026 Platinum Clubs® of America election. Clubs are encouraged to submit a video presentation, PDF, PowerPoint, (or other format), that highlights adherence to Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board approved Seven Selection Criteria and Excellence.

 

Clubs may also provide insights into capital projects, Best Practices, unique offerings, and other events or activities that have taken place since the last Platinum Clubs of America vote in September 2022.

To assist the voting body of General Managers, COOs, CEOs, Presidents, Commodores, and Owners to cast their confidential votes, a link will be provided on the Final Ballot to Club Websites with Submissions received prior to August 2, 2024.

Two Final Ballots will be distributed to each Club August 2, 2024

AT A GLANCE | Platinum Clubs of America Election

  • Elections take place in even years (2022, 2024, 2026).Five Platinum Club categories: Country Clubs (150), Golf Clubs (50), City Clubs (50), Yacht Clubs (30) and Athletic Clubs (20) - 300 Platinum Clubs of America 2025-2026.

  • Clubs within 5 points of Platinum Recognition awarded Honorable Mention.

  • 3500 Private Clubs Receive Two Final Ballots, for the General Manager, COO, CEO, Commodore, Presidents and Owners to vote.

  • Clubs not on the Preliminary Ballot may submit a request to the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board to be included on the Final Ballot.

  • Clubs can develop a Club Submission which is made available to the voting body on the Final Ballot.

  • The voting body is asked to utilize the Seven Selection Criteria when casting their confidential electronic votes.

  • The election is conducted by a third party, voting is confidential with full transparency.

  • Results are certified as true and correct.

Platinum Club status is the most respected recognition of Excellence in the Private Club Industry. The Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board is committed to delivering a transparent and accurate process to determine the Platinum Clubs® of America 2024-2025 in five categories: Country Clubs, Golf Clubs, City Clubs, Yacht Clubs, and Athletic Clubs.

 

Platinum Clubs of America are elected through a confidential vote of General Managers, COO, CEO's, Presidents, Commodores, and Owners. An explanation of the Ballot and the voting process is set forth below:

 

---Voters will receive two separate Ballots; a Preliminary Ballot and a Final Ballot. The Preliminary Ballot includes Clubs that were awarded Platinum Club or Honorable Mention status in the 2022 election, along with other Clubs that have been approved by the Advisory Board. This Ballot is intended for Voters to propose new Clubs that meet the Platinum Clubs of America, Seven Selection Criteria and would like to be considered in this year’s election process. 

 

---The Final Ballot will contain the Clubs on the Preliminary Ballot and the Proposed Clubs approved by the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board. The Final Ballot is scheduled to be distributed via email on August 13, 2024. Voters may add, delete, or modify their confidential ballot until the 5 PM Pacific Standard Time, September 9, 2024.

 

The vote is conducted by a third party and the results are certified as true and correct. Once confirmed, the results will be distributed via email.
